Some photos from my recent trip to central Finland. As you can see from photos it was rather cold day.

And later that day we had some fun in abandoned railroad tunnel.

Few days ago I visited Näsinneula Observation Tower in Tampere. The Tower is a part of Särkänniemi Adventure(Amusement) Park. First train came after few minutes wait.

P213 from Tampere to Kokkola runs only on fridays.

Few minutes after that a freight came from north. ↓ T3806 from Harjavalta to Viinikka(Tampere).

Few days ago we noticed a small note near the local train dispatcher office. Track maintenance work was scheduled for the following weeks. One night later we decided to check out whats happening.

One the way to the spot we noticed empty chemical train heading to east. This pic was taken from a car, I wasn’t driving.

Late night stranger, IC² 115 stops in Kausala at 23:29. This is only IC train that stops here.

Now the abnormalities start, Freight train coming into normally unused track 3 and proceeding thru crow (all black signal) to wrong side of tracks eg. normally trains drive on right but this time it drove on left. Only one track was usable that night.
